Toothache comes in varied forms. It is extremely important to diagnose the condition correctly and to carry out the emergency treatment in the correct way. Inappropriate emergency treatment can compromise the final result and cause the loss of the tooth and the restoration. This can happen soon or only a few years down the line. Prevention is always better than cure. The most important issue is to not hurt the patient. There is simply no excuse for doing so.
