In many instances specialised root canal treatment services are not immediately available. In these cases dentists may have to carry out the emergency treatment and then refer the patient to our practice. All treatments are carried out with the aid of the endodontic operating microscope. Rotary instrumentation, ultrasonic devices and thermoplastic condensation are the state of the art techniques used in this practice. Once the root canal treatment patients are referred back to the referring dentist.

Dr Koos Marais practises in the east of Pretoria. His practice is limited to endodontics and orofacial pain.
